The second of the two Nuits premiers crus that came with the Noëllat estate, lying a little south of Aux Boudots in the northern half of the appellation and still well clear of the town. The soil is stonier and shallower than at Boudots, and the wine is drawn tighter, with more evident mineral character where its neighbour gives flesh. In vintages of very small crops it has been folded into the village Nuits-Saint-Georges.
