Puligny-Montrachet Tremblots

One plot, 35.17 ares planted 1977. Domaine since 2025.
The southernmost lieu-dit in the Puligny appellation, sitting flat against the Chassagne border on limestone-marl soils studded with white pebbles. The name probably derives from trembles, the aspen trees that once grew on the site. What gives Tremblots its character is its position: directly below Bâtard-Montrachet, on the same line of soil that runs from the Grands Crus down to the Chassagne edge. Olivier Lamy's old-vine Tremblots, a wine of unusual depth and breadth for a Village cuvée, has been a long-standing favourite of ours, and Alvina and Philippe's first version of this cru is one we are very much looking forward to tasting.
