Regional
Bourgogne Côte d'Or Rue de Bois

Two plots totalling 23.29 ares, planted 1999 and 2021. Domaine.
The vineyard wraps around the winery itself, on the gentle ground at the entrance of the village just below Le Clos du Château, the five-hectare walled vineyard in front of the Château de Puligny-Montrachet that Etienne de Montille kept for his own domaine when he sold the Château itself to François Pinault's Artémis. The new owner is currently building the cellars for Domaine des Cabottes there. Two plots of unequal age share the same soil and aspect: a mature parcel from 1999, and a younger one planted in 2021 as the winery was being built. A regional appellation that punches consistently above its level, and one that, served blind, can be hard to pick out from a Village wine.
