Puligny-Montrachet Grands Champs

One plot, 21.68 ares planted 1959. Domaine since 2025.
A village lieu-dit on the lower part of the slope, just below Clavoillon. The vines were planted in 1959, among the oldest in the entire range. The parcel sits on a complex layering of soils, a clay-rich topsoil over gravelly limestone studied in detail by the geologist François Vannier-Petit, and it is the combination of mature roots and that layered profile that gives the wines a depth and freshness rarely found together at village level. One to watch closely over the coming decade.
