The parcel that began everything. La Rue aux Vaches sits just below the Premiers Crus Clos des Meix and Les Pucelles, on a slope steep and well-drained enough to give the wine the structural credentials of a Premier Cru in all but classification. Bought together by Alvina and her father in 2017, it has been harvested and pressed in-house from the very first vintage. Production runs to a single barrel each year, and the wine is bottled exclusively in magnum, with the single exception of 2024, when a short Puligny village crop and a long list of clients meant a small quantity of standard bottles were released alongside.
